PRINCIPAL MESSAGE:

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.”

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

The entire staff of The Children of St. Martha Elementary School extend a warm welcome to all of our families, both new and returning. We are happy that you have chosen to be part of our wonderful school community. Each child at CSM is accepted for who they are and encouraged to achieve to the best of their ability. Our staff work hard to ensure that students are supported as they learn in a challenging, nurturing and loving 21st Century Learning environment. We look forward to working in partnership with you and St. Martha parish, to provide the very best in Catholic education. As we enter this year, our hopes are that as a school community we are mindful of the commitment to our Catholic Social teaching as we Grow in Faith Together (G.I.F.T).

We are pleased to welcome back our returning staff and introduce the new staff members joining our community: Welcome to:

Ms. Hunt: FSLC

Ms. Cardamone: grade 6 teacher while Mrs. Snopek is away on maternity leave

Ms. Wallace: grade 3/4 teacher

Ms. Wolochaty: Family First Facilitator while Mrs. Nagata is on maternity leave

We encourage and invite all parents to get to know The Children of St. Martha school community and to consider sharing your talent and expertise. We are always looking for additional people to serve on our school council. If you are interested in being part of our school council this year please let us know at the office. Our Annual General meeting for School Council will take place September 20th, from 6:30– 8:00 p.m. in our school library. We invite and welcome you all!

On a personal note, it is my pleasure to be serving as Principal of The Children of St. Martha Elementary School. I wish all of our students and staff a very successful year of learning and personal growth as we continue on our great journey of Catholic education.

As we go forward into this school year, we are grateful as always, for the outstanding support that we receive from the families of our students. May God continue to watch over and guide us as we work together to provide exciting, challenging and successful learning opportunities for the students at The Children of St. Martha Elementary School.

Blessings to all of you,
