Welcome to St. Patrick Fine Arts Elementary School!

Our Kindergarten to Grade 6 school is nestled in the Riverstone subdivision, on Lethbridge's west side, and is the only fine arts school in the city. Through the arts we live our Catholic faith, and bring to life the talents of our students as we teach and learn daily through the arts:  music, art, dance and drama. It is with this approach that we study curricula as required by the Alberta Program of Studies.

To complement daily instruction, we offer lunchtime club opportunities in each of the arts throughout the year. Students are able to pursue their arts interests in choral singing, art, drama and dance by participating in any or all of these lunchtime clubs. Choir and dance clubs often assist or perform at our school celebrations and assemblies.

Our fine arts program is enriched by the performances done by our students when they take their talents out to the greater community. Choirs have participated in many city events, including Christmas carols at City Hall, singing with the Lethbridge Symphony Kids Night,as well as many other occasions. Each class is entered in the Kiwanis Music and Speech Arts Festival, and have found that experience to be very rewarding. Our Christmas Concert is a major event in the school year, and, after a very full year of fine arts activities, a year end Talent Showcase rounds out the performance opportunities for our students.

Along with daily religious instruction, our mission as a Catholic school blesses us with the gift of reaching out to the community through classroom social justice projects. We actively support such work as Mission Mexico, local food banks, Holy Childhood, as well as other worthy projects. The liturgical year guides our school celebrations, and we gather often as a school to sing and pray together.
