We are currently looking to hire a Revenue Accountant to commence as soon as possible. Holy Spirit Catholic Schools serves the communities of Lethbridge, Taber, Coaldale, Picture Butte, Bow Island and Pincher Creek. There are 15 schools and 2 outreach centers in the division (elementary, junior high, high school) with a total enrolment of approximately 5000 students. The school division has approximately 600 employees.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Revenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting of all revenues for the school division including government funding, donations, and miscellaneous revenue. In addition, the Revenue Accountant will provide direct support to the Business Services department in areas of accounts payable as well as budget reporting and month end and year-end financial reporting. This position will be of interest to a highly motivated team player with at least three to five years of accounting experience.
