Pronghorns Soccer - Pronghorn Soccer adds five local products

Playing soccer ever since I could remember.

Club Soccer- played Cosmos in Lethbridge from the U-12 to U-14 age groups winning the MVP award twice for the team. I then started playing in Calgary with my first season with Calgary Villains winning a bronze medal in provincials. After I played for the Villains I moved on to SWU United for one season winning another bronze in Provincials. After playing for SWU I moved to the 92 Foothills Crew for a season winning a gold medal in Provincials at the U-18 Level and moving on to Nationals also Winning Gold with a 7-1 Win over Ontario. Travelled to Germany, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Brazil and England for the Arsenal Tournament with club teams.

Provincial Team- Started playing on the Provincial team for the U-15 level. Winning a Gold medal at the Rocky Mountain Cup and scoring the game winner over Team Manitoba. Moved on to the U-16 provincial team winning Bronze at the National Championships and also playing at the Canada Summer Games for Team Alberta at the U-17 age group winning a Silver medal.

Professional- Signed my first professional contract at 18 Years old leaving the last quarter of school from CCH to play for FC Edmonton. First year played, won against the Montreal Impact FC, Losing 4-3 to Colo Colo from Chile, Loosing in PKs to Portsmouth FC from the UK, won against Ottawa Fury, Spokane Scorpions, Victoria Highlanders and a draw against Miami FC. Second season played in the NASL with FC Edmonton. Featured in 7 regular season games as well as a National Televised game v TFC in the Nutrilite Championships. Travelled to many different places including Minnesota, Carolina, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa Bay, Puerto Rico, Montreal, Toronto and Atlanta. Still up in edmonton for my third season with FC Edmonton currently.

Attended the U-20 Camp in Ft. Lauderdale for a week for the U-20 National Team.



Matteo Pasquotti

A Lethbridge, Alberta native who can play either as a midfielder or striker, Matteo Pasquotti spent the past season with Lethbridge FC before joining the Residency program on September 7, 2010.

Pasquotti has been a part of the national fold, having recently been called up by the Canadian U-17 national team. He participated in a team camp in Omaha, Nebraska in April, as well as a more recent seven-day training camp in Laval, Quebec this past July. The young attacking midfielder has also been a member of the Canadian Soccer Association's (CSA) National Training Centre since 2008.

Pasquotti first began playing competitive soccer in 2004 for the Lethbridge 1993 Cosmos. Following his final year with the Cosmos in 2007, Pasquotti joined Lethbridge FC for a season, and then the Southwest United 93 Premiers for the 2009-2010 season. The young midfielder/striker has also been a fixture on Alberta’s Provincial squad over the past four years, captaining the side from 2007-2010.

Born in Lethbridge, AB, Pasquotti began his education at St. Michaels School before finishing up his elementary education at Assumption School. He then attended St. Francis Junior High School followed by Catholic Central High School. His parents are Dino and Theresa Pasquotti, and has two brothers, Dario and Nico.

Pasquotti has played on his school football and basketball teams where he has won various individual and team awards over the years. He also enjoys travelling with his family, and watching movies.
