National Addictions Awareness Week, Nov. 19-25, 2023
National Addictions Awareness Week runs from November 19-25, 2023. This year's theme is "Inspiration, Innovation, Inclusion" as communities across Canada are showing their approaches for helping people improve their substance use health.
Events will be held at in all schools in the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division with Junior and Senior High School students within the next week, raising awareness on what different types of addictions are, risk taking, fun interactive resources and healthy coping strategies.
